Winters in the Alberni Valley are wet, so this project was all about getting water off the roof quickly and keeping it out. We installed a snap-lock standing seam metal system in Regent Grey, with panels that interlock along raised seams so water runs straight down to the eaves instead of sitting on the surface.

Metal’s smooth finish also helps snow and debris slide off rather than build up. We spent the most time on the details that decide whether a roof leaks: the flashing at the penetrations, the valleys and the ridge and edge trim. The result is a roof that is sturdy, tidy and ready for whatever the season brings.
